Lori Shaneck, RN, CFN
PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Lori is a registered nurse with over 33 years of experience in neonatal through adult critical care. As Program Director for Kalitta MedFlight, Lori coordinates infection control initiatives and serves as the patient liaison. Her career has seen much diversity in the critical care arena, enabling her to achieve the level of professionalism that our patients expect and deserve.

Melissa Mozingo, RRT-NPS
ASSOCIATE PROGRAM DIRECTOR / EDUCATION & CQI COORDINATOR
Melissa, Kalitta MedFlight’s Associate Program Director, is a registered respiratory therapist and neonatal / pediatric specialist with over 18 years of experience. She also serves as our Education & Continuing Quality Improvement Coordinator, responsible for maintaining our staff competencies and current accreditations.

Scott Pattison
MEDFLIGHT COORDINATOR
As Kalitta MedFlight’s Coordinator, Scott is responsible for managing mission logistics, planning and flight following. Scott is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelors of Science in aviation and is currently pursuing his Associates Degree in nursing, with plans to complete the program by July 2012.

Neil Yoder, D.O.
ADULT MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Dr. Yoder is an American Board of Emergency Medicine-certified physician with fellowship training in Emergency Medical Services. He currently holds a full-time emergency medicine position with Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, PA and serves as clinical faculty for the Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center Emergency Medicine Residency.
Dr. Yoder serves as Kalitta MedFlight's Adult Medical Director and Flight Physician. He is active with the Department of Health and Human Resources with participation in the DMAT program, Cambria County Special Emergency Response Team, Conemaugh EMS Consortium, and Upper Yoder Township Volunteer Fire Department.

Dr. Howard Stein
NEONATAL / PEDIATRIC MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Dr. Howard Stein serves as the Neonatal / Pediatric Medical Director for Kalitta MedFlight. He is board-certified in neonatology and practices as a neonatologist and pediatric intensivist. Dr Stein is the Director of Neonatal Transport at Toledo Children's Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. He also completed a pediatric cardiology fellowship and worked as a pediatric cardiologist for eight years. Dr. Stein serves on the National Certification Corporation board as a consultant for the development of the neonatal and pediatric transport certification (NPT) exam. He is a national S.T.A.B.L.E instructor and is one of the national reviewers of the learner materials as well as the physical exam module and the cardiac module. He is one of the pioneers in NAVA ventilation in neonates.
Dr. Stein frequently lectures at national and international conferences on NAVA and neonatal transport, especially transport of the neonate with cardiac diseases. He has also taught both NRP and S.T.A.B.L.E. nationally and internationally.
